South Station

The South Side Station was built in 1973.  The contractor for the build was Charles Hillenburg.  Midwestern Engineers served as the consulting engineer on the project.  The project was funded by Loogootee Accumulative Fund and an Economic Development Administration Grant.


This station serves as our primary building.  Monthly meetings are hosted here, we have a full kitchen, office and bathroom inside.  There are 8 apparatuses stored here:

  • Truck 4
  • Side by side
  • Ladder 5
  • Tanker 1
  • Camper
  • 1941 Dodge (Decommissioned)
